Trichodes punctatus ab. viridifasciatus Chevrolat, 1843

Description: The length is 7-19 mm. The antenna club is black. The pronotum is coarsely and densely punctuate; posteriorly slightly dull. The lower surface of elytral shoulder is orange. The posterior elytral band reaches the lateral margin; the apical spot takes up the entire elytral tip; the hind tibia is nearly straight.
On T. punctatus punctatus, the two elytral band do not reach the lateral margin and the apical spot is bordered orange red.
The sutural angle is straight to slightly emarginated, with feeble indication of a tooth; the hind femora slightly more thickened than in T. punctatus punctatus
Distribution: Former Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Iran.
