Description: Common species and the only member of this genus in Cyprus.
Biology: It has one generation a year (univoltine species) and is on wing from February to June.
Habitat: Found at altitudes from 300-1,200 m. At lower altitudes, this Blue is found in scrub, where Genista fasselata, its probable foodplant, is growing. Above 1,000 m, these butterflies occur in clearings in pine woods.
Distribution: Endemic species on Cyprus.
